Real estate professionals routinely work alone, meet unfamiliar people, and enter vacant or unfamiliar properties—often while focused on serving the client rather than evaluating their surroundings.


In this practical, interactive Lunch & Learn, Melissa Abramovich draws on 20 years of martial arts experience and 15 years teaching women’s self-defense to help REALTORS® develop safer habits without becoming fearful or suspicious.

We’ll cover situational awareness, open-house and showing protocols, positioning and exit planning, verbal boundaries, and creative ways everyday objects can help protect you and create an opportunity to escape. The session concludes with hands-on instruction in simple, practical self-defense techniques designed for real-world situations—no martial arts experience required.

Participants will leave with greater awareness, stronger instincts, and strategies they can begin using at their very next showing.
